Feel the world. See the world, hear the world, learn the world.
Understand the world.
From there, dream the world. Simulate the world you want, make sure that it's realistic, coherent with what you know about the current one.
Then, use your knowledge. Bend the reality, drive the flow of events to where you want it to be. You won't get it perfectly on target, but you will land it close enough.
The more you let your dreams be predictions, the easier it is for them to become reality.
